For the next two weeks Dave O Rama pays tribute to the Upsetter, the mighty Rainford Hugh Lee "Scratch" Perry. The Jamaican E T and one of the most prolific and globally influential musical minds in modern history. Lee "Scratch" Perry has been the most magical creative inspiration in my life, as I have been presenting Perry's music on the radio airwaves for 40 years.

In celebration of his life and his 86th birthday, The Lovecast celebrates the smallest musical giant in recording history with a two part series that presents some of Dave O Rama's favourite Lee "Scratch" Perry tracks gleaned from Perry's own solo work excavated from a mind blowing discography that includes classic productions for everyone from Bob Marley & The Wailers to The Clash, Bill Laswell and The Orb.

The Lovecast is a two hour broad spectrum music exploration program hosted by Dave O Rama, airing Saturdays from 4PM to 6PM EST on CIUT FM, Toronto, Canada, and syndicated on www.bluesandrootsradio.com, www.ubuntu.fm, CJMP FM.
