The Africa Agri Forum 2017 was organized in partnership with OCP Africa, 18-19 October 2017 in Abidjan, under the aegis of the Ivorian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The theme of the Forum was “Agricultural Development Plans: The Winning Approach.”
About 200 participants representing government authorities, international organizations, financial institutions, investors, agribusiness, agro-industries, research centers, academia, farmers’ cooperatives attended the Africa Agri Forum 2017, which serves as a platform for exchanges between African and international experts as well as actors in the agricultural world.
AfricaRice Director General Dr Harold Roy-Macauley presented the ‘Continental Investment Plan for Accelerating Rice Self-Sufficiency in Africa’ (CIPRiSSA) in the plenary session on ‘How to address the key challenges of PPP, financing, food security, industry development…’ on the 2nd day of the Africa Agri Forum 2017.
AfricaRice was also invited to participate in the ‘Business-to-business’ (B2B) exhibition.
