Post Podcast: Alliance City Council meeting, Aug. 3

Welcome back to the Post Podcast, I'm Kalin Krohe. Today we'll return to the Alliance City Council meeting from Aug. 3. Council issued a proclamation in recognition of the Box Butte Bad Boys (10 - under) baseball team as state champions. Council approved an ordinance for prohibited activities such as skateboards, bicycles, skates, etc. on designated areas of municipal parks. This will affect the Sunken Garden in the city park. Council also approved on first reading the proposed 2021-2022 budget and an additional 1% for budgeted restricted funds. Council heard the third quarter financial presentation from Randy Waggener and more.
