Daniel "Danny" Simmons Jr. is originally from Hollis Queens and currently resides in Philadelphia. He is is a Neo-African abstract expressionist painter, co-founder, and Chairman of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation (since 1995) He is also an avid collector of African art and comic books.
