January 31- February The Moon is New in liberating Aquarius marking the Chinese New Year of the water Tiger. The people are rising up in unpredictable ways. Retrograde Mercury moves forward again unblocking progress. Go slow and get your ducks in a row. The Sun will slide up beside Saturn in Aquarius. Will the governments back down or dig in?

Monday the New moon is at 9:46 pm PST In Freedom Loving Aquarius. Let your freak flag fly. The more unique we are the better with Aquarius imprinting the planet. We each come with a spark of genius. We must not let it die. Aquarius is an air sign, it feeds on open spaces and the crackle of lighting. We change because we are born to change. We stand up for each other because we truly are one.

Uranus is the ruler of this new moon. It is squaring off with this New Moon from stubborn Taurus. Which is an odd and uncomfortable place for Uranus to be. Taurus loves to stay the same more than any other sign. Uranus, on the other hand, forces change. It will pry the past from your hands. Change is the only thing we can count on. It wins.

Use this new moon to unstuck yourself from intolerable places. Any effort made in a group setting will have even more power. Is there a group that needs you? Is there something you could start that brings people together? Freedom is always on the mind of Aquarius.

Mercury will be moving forward in Capricorn on February 3. It will take until February 24 for it to actually get back to where it started backtracking. This is a good time line to use for implementing your plans. The Capricorn Mercury is clear thinking. It can see the five year plan that will accomplish the most. You can tap into this energy too.

Friday is powerful. Saturn rules institutions. And the Sun is our identity. They Join together. Is it solidarity or slavery? I am not certain which group will benefit. Any effort towards good always has more power. Focus on what you want to grow. Your energy matters. Your attention is priceless.
