Our daily lives are filled with transactions. From going to work to buying our groceries, we know that in order to get something, we first have to give something. We tend to assume our relationship with God functions the same way: If we give God what God wants, then God will give us what we want. But the birth of Jesus shows us very clearly that that’s not at all what God’s love is like. In today’s sermon, we’ll explore what God’s love is really like and the powerful difference it makes in our lives and in our world. Join us as we continue our series, “Honest Advent.”
