Shhh We’re Reading Dirty Books
Arts:Books
We would like to be the first to apologize for never, ever doing a pirate book in the four years we have been doing this podcast because pirates fuck. In book one of the Sentinels of Savannah series, Magnolia Mystic, sassy psychic Skye meets Colton, a grown man dressed as a pirate (spoiler, he’s a real pirate who’s a couple hundred years old), when he catches her throwing her engagement ring into that water at the pier. The two bicker and banter with one another but also team up against a strong-headed real estate investor who wants her shop to build a hotel. She refuses and Colton backs her. Naturally, they are instantly attracted to each other and after a few days of denial, they finally bone. Join us to see why Colton can’t resist the color violet and why Skye can’t resist a man in pirate-form.
