According to national surveys, most of us pray at least sometimes. But if we’re honest, many of us aren’t exactly sure we’re doing it ‘right.’ We sense that there must be more to prayer than just asking God for stuff, but we’re not sure where to begin. So how *should* we pray? In our sermon series on The Lord’s Prayer, we’re exploring how Jesus answered that question and the difference it makes when we learn to pray like Jesus. Today we’re talking about the challenge, the importance, and the power of forgiveness.
The Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, in heaven, hallowed be your Name.
Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
