We live in an individualistic consumer culture that leads us to focus primarily on our own desires. The result is that we often treat the people around us as either instruments to be used or obstacles in our way. Is it any wonder that our society is lonelier than ever? In today’s sermon, we’ll see that Jesus calls us to a radically different way of treating ourselves and the people around us. It’s not normal or easy, but it’s transformational and life-giving. Join us as we continue our series, ‘Different.’ \
Memory Verse: “Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.” - Romans 12:2 (CEB)
