Sixteen-year-old Hunter Reed joins Delaware County Today to share his passion for amateur radio and his role with the Muncie Amateur Radio Club. He’s already achieved the highest-level FCC license and is helping coordinate this year’s Field Day, where the public can experience emergency communication demonstrations firsthand.

 

 Learn what it takes to get licensed, why ham radio matters in a crisis, and how it’s still building community — one signal at a time.
