Of the 56 ministers in the current Modi government, 24 have roots in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Among BJP CMs, 13 of the 28 who have served since 2014 have an ABVP background. And all the three CMs appointed by the BJP this month — in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh — found their political footing in the RSS-BJP student wing.
