Local Senator taking Government to court today over RAF flights over Republic

Local Senator Gerard Craughwell is taking the Government to court today in relation to flights over the Republic.

Senator Craughwell is claiming there is a "secret arrangement" allowing the Royal Air Force to intercept any aircraft in Irish space that poses threat to either country.

His legal team are in the High Court this morning, arguing for the practise to be stopped.
