Welcome to the ninth episode of a monthly Cherry Red Records Radio show in association with Boogaloo Radio, Almost Blue, Totally Radio, Kalypso Gold, Ship Full Of Bombs and WFRN1025/WRFNGOLD.
Hosted by Iain McNay, listen in as he delves into the independent label’s sizeable vaults to bring you two hours of music inspired by one of the most eclectic and prolific labels in the world.
This month is a National Album Day special!
National Album Day is a day in the UK calendar taken to appreciate the value of the album as an art form. Now in it's third year and with an 1980s theme, the show features two Cherry Red artists - Luke Haines and Jah Wobble - talking about their favourite 80s albums, alongside Matt Bristow, Ricky Martin and Matt Ingham from Cherry Red HQ talking about their favourite 80s records. This year National Album Day falls on October 10th - you can find out more information here: www.nationalalbumday.co.uk/
Hear a mixture of Cherry Red and non-Cherry Red acts, both old and new, including songs from compilation box sets and every genre under the sun.
Iain and Cherry Red are staunch supporters of buying music in physical form and only plays music that can be bought on CD or vinyl.
