Provincial police continue to investigate a serious two-vehicle collision on St. Clair Road. Chatham-Kent police have arrested a Wallaceburg man after an altercation allegedly led to assault. A 23-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested at the Bluewater Bridge after reportedly breaching court conditions for months. Ontario's auditor general says the office of the provincial labour minister has not been using a fair or transparent process to dole out money for the Skills Development Fund. Another report from the auditor general says that the province has failed to meet its targets for lowering childcare fees, creating childcare spots, and hiring enough qualified childcare workers to comply with the National $10-a-day Childcare Program. The grand prize winner of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation's summer 50/50 draw is Wallaceburg's Sandra Denomey.
