Jan er med i flere musik projekter, og har altid været involveret i forskellig slags musik. I starten af Juni (2017) vandt han første præmie på Grenaa Gademusiker Festival, og han har lige udgivet et nyt album. Lyt med, mens Jan deler nogle af hans tilgange til sangskrivning.
