While most people were focused on how commonplace and strong Companions are in the Pioneer format, the MTG Arena team quietly released their 3rd anthology for the Historic format. While very few of the cards this time around are actually Pioneer playable, it got us wondering if these older cards could actually break Pioneer. Aside from the historic only cards currently available, we discussed which cards from past sets before the Pioneer format could be reprinted without taking it to its breaking point.
