What would you think of a farmer who had his best field, with rich black soil and adequate irrigation, fertile and lush, but he never planted anything there? Imagine a huge paddock, with the best soil, and best rainfall, yet he leaves it fallow, and all that grows is weeds. You’d say he was an irresponsible farmer.
But it’s his choice, isn’t it. You and I are that farmer! Every day we are given a gift, and most often we squander it.
If I told you that your bank called, and they said they will deposit $864 every day into your account. This amounts to $6000 a week or over $300K a year. But there's a catch… you have to spend it all… or they take it back. Every day! No problem, say the ladies, right?
This is all of us. We all get 86,400 seconds each day. Do you spend yours wisely. It’s a fertile field, do you plant it for maximum yield, or let weeds grow.
