This week we are joined by the Chief Executive Officer of ContentSafe, Matthew Raymer.
The technological advancement of the silicon age is a double edged sword. While the advent of the internet, email, video conferencing and remote working has many liberating aspects, vigilance is required to ensure these tools are not wielded to our detriment.
How can this be prevented?
What role could decentralisation play in this regard?
A digital prison empowered by algorithmic taste profiling and online censorship could be in our future unless we continue to support freedom of thought, open discourse and the ability to hash out our differences on the battleground of ideas.
This was a wide ranging chat with Matt covering censorship, current events, geopolitics and the media landscape. We live in uncertain times but there are definitely reasons to look to the future with optimism. We hope you find it valuable.
