On this episode, we are joined by two awesome black women in medicine; these doctors join me as we explore the challenges of race and gender in medicine.  Given the recent protests and murder of George Floyd in the United States, we could ignore the fact that racial bias and prejudice exists in healthcare and affects patients and staff alike.

 

We need the courage to speak up at times like this and challenge the institutional racial bias that has limited and affected so many.  We hope you enjoy the episode.
