This last Sunday, August the 5tth, I woke up to a phone call with my mother screaming for my help. I immediately ran down to the house to find her over my dad. He had passed.
Needless to say, this week has been rough. Thankfully, my children, who live in the Pacific Northwest, were able to make the flight and be here for the funeral. On Wednesday night I spoke at my dad's funeral and once we got home we all sat down over a few beers and had a great conversation.
Here is my dad's obituary.
