Sadly, the church has often created excessive guilt and shame about sex. So we may be tempted to roll our eyes at the suggestion that lust is a problem, much less a ‘sin.’ Our culture certainly isn’t worried about it. And yet, Jesus felt the need to give us a surprisingly strong warning against lust within his most famous sermon. So this week in worship, we’re looking at what Jesus has to say about lust, why it still matters today, and how it helps us. Don’t miss this final installment in our series on the 7 Deadly Sins.
