Sermon #400
Today in Paul's letter to the Philippians, we find out what the source of his joy is, despite his imprisonment. We find that Paul can find joy in his circumstances by rejoicing in the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. This is the central focus of everything that we do as Christians. When our life is hard, when we endure suffering for a season, even when we are persecuted as some are in other countries, we can find joy because we have an eternal hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
