Disabilities - LGTBQIA+ - Older Demographic
Inclusive Not Exclusive
Ken Baldwin, Scott Hunt, Fiona Kriaris and Nadine Kemp make up our panel to discuss subjects we sometimes shy away from.
Gyms need inclusivity to foster health for all. Excluding individuals based on disability, LGBTQIA+ status, or age neglects our collective wellness. Disability-inclusive equipment, respect for gender identities, and accommodating older individuals can empower gyms spaces. Inclusion enhances community health, encouraging positive self-image and diverse social interactions for every gym-goer. Sometimes we think we are inclusive when in fact, we remain exclusive.
