GretnaLife’s Sunday Gatherings
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Big Idea of the Series: The heart of this four-week series is to focus on the power of joy in the life of the believer. It will focus on seeing joy as a gift, having joy when God moves, finding joy when God feels distant, and the way joy changes the hearts of believers working together.
Week 1
Text: Galatians 5:22–26; Philippians 4:4;-9 Thessalonians 5:16
Topics: Living in Confidence, Joy, Fruit of the Spirit, Holy Spirit
Big Idea of the Message: Joy is a gift from the Holy Spirit, and the follower of Christ must learn how to live in light of that joy.
Application Point: If we are to live as God intends, then we will need to figure out how to see joy as a gift. But as with any gift, we cannot benefit from it unless we use it as intended.
