Call for new public bus service between Ballinasloe and Athlone

A local senator is calling for a new public bus service to be established between Ballinasloe and Athlone. 

Senator Aisling Dolan says while there are commercial operators on the route, there's no service serving the old Galway Road through the town. 

She argues it's of vital importance given the location of Portiuncula Hospital.
