This week’s pillar focuses on COMPASSION.
The Dalai Lama says that this pillar is the key to happiness. He says if you don’t show compassion for others and stop worrying about your own suffering, that you will never truly find joy. It sounds easy in theory, and for many, it is. Compassion is our natural state, after all. However, through our life experiences, many people have learned a different way of life, where love and compassion isn’t what drives us. The good news is that compassion can be learned, and it’s 100% contagious!
