If most of us mark Memorial Day at all, it may be with little more than a passing thought for the sacrifice of those who have served our country in uniform. Perhaps a flag will be posted or, at most, a parade observed.

Here’s something else you can do if you really want to connect with what this important holiday is all about – and to help others do the same: Check out a moving short video called “Just a Common Soldier” featuring award-winning actor, Tony Lo Bianco, then pass it on.

The filmmakers have set the ambitious goal of having twenty-one million people “share” or “like” this video between today and November 11th, Veteran's Day. That would be one symbolic gesture of solidarity for each of our country’s estimated living veterans.
