In this session, Nita Creekmore talks about ways to find the root of Sunday Scaries and combat them as well! Sunday Scaries are a real thing, but it doesn’t have to take over your Sunday. Find out ways to release the feeling of Sunday Scaries.
Bio: Nita Creekmore is an Instructional Coach who lives just outside Atlanta, GA. Nita is originally from Woodbridge, Virginia. She taught in grades 1, 2, and 5 for 13 years before becoming an Elementary School Instructional Coach. Nita obtained her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2002 and her Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership in 2013. In the 17 years, she has been in education, she truly believes that in all aspects of the field, relationships must always come first.
Nita is married to Michael Creekmore, Jr. and has four children, three daughters and a son ages 7, 13, 15, and 17. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, attending her kids' extracurricular activities, practicing yoga, and relaxing with a good book. Nita believes in maintaining a healthy work/life balance, building relationships, the importance of self-care, and the impact of diverse read alouds on students of all ages!
