Writer/director Brad Michael Elmore and Supergirl's Nicole Maines have managed to reinvigorate the vampire genre by injecting a sociopolitical twist on the mythic monsters. Bit, a tale of a runaway transwoman who encounters a group of ideologically strict lady vampires is no fluffy romantic romp with sparkles and six-pack abs. This is a power fantasy and an important step for representation in the horror genre. Check out our interview with Mr. Elmore and Ms. Maines below! Bit will be at both Outfest in L.A. on the 26th and next month at Popcorn Frights in Fort Lauderdale, Florida! https://www.outfest.org/ http://www.popcornfrights.com/ #trans #NicoleMaines #Bit
