Sports Therapy Association Podcast
Health & Fitness
We continue our February 'Focus on WOMEN'S HEALTH' here on the Sports Therapy Association Videocast & Podcast, with Part 2 of the series: 'Menopause Transition: Soft Tissue Implications'.
Joining us is special guest Jenny Burrell, Head & Founder of Burrell Education, one of the UK's leading-edge educators in the field of modern Pregnancy, Post Baby, 3rd Age (Peri-to Post-Menopause) and Female Fitness, Wellness, Massage + Bodywork Therapies.
In this episode, Jenny discusses the soft tissue implications of the Menopause Transition, providing information that is vital to soft tissue therapists who wish to help female clients become educated about their own body, empowering them to be their own deepest advocate for health in both good and challenging times.
About the Guest
Jenny Burrell created Burrell Education back in 2007 to revolutionize the way fitness professionals work in wellness, nutrition, soft-tissue therapy and fitness with pregnant, post baby and peri to post menopausal women. She is the creator of the Core Health wellness system, Holistic Core Restore® with nearly 100 Licensees in the UK and Internationally.
Holistic Core Restore was created as a direct response to the Pelvic Health and continence issues Jenny herself experienced after Sub-Total Abdominal Hysterectomy. Fuelled by the significant lack of education and aftercare post-op, Jenny made a pledge to dedicate herself to creating a Pelvic Floor and Core rehab programme that all women could benefit from.
