Luke 14:7-14
As the special guest at a special dinner, Jesus could have enjoyed the honors and accolades that went along with the invitation. Instead he used the occasion to teach the guests about which seats they should have chosen (spoiler alert: they chose the wrong ones!), and he rebuked the host for inviting the wrong people to the feast!
