Released in the heady, Britpop-heavy (and peak) times of 1995 this is an absolute colossus that made Oasis a tabloid editor’s dream & legitimately the biggest and most popular band across the British Isles. Regularly ranked on ‘Best of’ lists worldwide, one of the highest selling albums ever in the UK, numerous tracks that were earworms to everybody alive at the time, made absolute megastars out of the Gallagher brothers, the plaudits go on & on BUT does this bad boy still hold up and deserve a place in the nation’s consciousness until the end of time?
