Sometimes I long for the days I lived in the Rio Grande Valley, where we had three seasons a year (hot, hotter and hottest), but after one hour there, I'm ready to leave (no offense mom and dad). That's okay, the ripe warm days are on the way.
Besides, who says you can't enjoy summer now? Pick up some J.C., limes, triple sec, and Mexican beer (I love Indio but it's not available in the states so Bohemia and lime will do), go down to the market, and get some fajitas, avocados, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and tortillas and you can have your own summer party right in the middle of winter.
Heck, you can even go down to the tanning salon and put some color on if you want to make it authentic.LOL. We've got a few friends coming over tonight, so I think the first part will be a hit. Think of it as a holdover until the actual season get's here.
