This week's episode is a little different (and slightly shorter). I'm focusing on a couple of artists that were my favourite new discoveries in 2020. Seabuckthorn is UK artist Andy Cartwright who has been putting out music for a decade now. With roots in classical composition, you can hear his albums evolve into richly detail works of acoustic and ambient beauty. Glåsbird is an anonymous side project from an established sound artist. Their work soundtracks Northern geographies and the moods that are inspired there.
You can find Seabuckthorn releases on a variety of labels listed below and on their own Bandcamp page. All of the Glåsbird releases are currently available at Whitelabrecs Bandcamp.
