Despite the idyllic ways the Christmas season is depicted in popular media, this is a time of year that’s unavoidably messy. Whether it’s the financial strain, the family tensions, spiritual baggage from our past, or just the constant feeling of unpreparedness, Christmas can leave us feeling like we’re a mess.
