This episode we went back to examine the structure of scent! We compared two lighter oolongs, both Tie Guan Yin from Anxi, China. One is a more standard production, with an accenuated floral fragrance, and the other is harvested from old growth tea bushes and charcoal roasted by a master in Taiwan. I love exploring the texture, shape and movement of a tea's scent, and I learned a lot through this exercise. Enjoy!
