This week, Zach chats with Clay Raines about his path in becoming a Research Technician at the USGS National Fish Health Lab, as well as a PhD student at West Virginia University. Clay's research is primarily focused around Blotchy Bass Syndrome in black bass - and he discusses some of the novel methods being used to track the distribution of affected fish, as well as questions he hopes to address to increase our understanding of the virus.
