Lyrics:
standing at the shore
weathering the tides
waves meet with the stones
they sing when they collide
I am not that worried
about anything at all
surely won't be hurried
should anybody call
look I found a seashell
and a sand dollar too
when I see you, my bell
I'll give them both to you
If I'm taken out to sea
by riptides wide as they can be
will you search until the dawn
call it off if I be gone
underneath this raging sea
I'll find a place and I will sleep
so you can meet me I will show
my reds from twenty feet below
in the ocean I will grow
a cinnamon fire
you'll come to know
a beautiful, coral magic show
don't be sad because I'm gone
underneath I shall live on
a nest for other lives to thrive
a pretty blood red ocean hive
just below the rolling waves
where otters ride the crest and play
a spot where I'll forever hide
here beneath the raging tides
Choices made and now they're met-
with consequence you won't forget-
and for this I apologize-
more the reason to despise-
this and that and all of me-
better found down in the deep-
your salty tears not lost at sea-
they sink below and water me-
feed the pain and then I show-
my brightest reds from down below-
