God expects His people to bear fruit in keeping with His character, but that’s not what Jesus found during His ministry. Why did Jesus curse a fig tree over it, and how can we abide in Him to bear godly fruit today?
"And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs" (Mark 11:13).
