Balancing individuality and shared purpose is something that is hard for most teams to handle. We tend to enjoy assimilation and being surrounded by people that are like minded to us. However, here at PAW Health, we have been blessed with having a diverse team, and realizing that encouraging differences among staff allows us to serve the patient more effectively. On this weeks PAWCast, we welcome Molly Backlund.
Molly is a CVT here at PAW as well as our Shelter Engagement Coordinator. She is also the reason we learned that valuable lesson in the early days of PAW Health Network. In this episode, we discuss Molly's path into veterinary medicine, her 'black sheep' personality, the things she has learned in communication and collaboration, the insanity of working night shifts, and most importantly, how being true to herself has allowed her to be successful and fulfilled in her professional life.
If you are struggling or feeling a lack of fulfillment, this episode is for you.
How are you working to define and be true to yourself? Let us know in the comments!
