Since an early age I've been fascinated by the jazzier side of music, probably helped by the fact that my dad listened to plenty of it while we were in the car. Then Hip-Hop came around in the early 80's with LL Cool J, Ice T, Beastie Boys and Run DMC among others that mixed the sounds of Jazz and funky samples into their songs. Trip-Hop was an amalgamation of all that was around at the time and before, including Drum & Bass, Electronic music, Dub, Soul, Funk, Classical and Blues, with plenty of radio, TV and film samples included.

Vapour Trail Live is heard on the second and fourth Fridays at 6pm Pacific. Patrons of Eardrum Buzz Live get to hear the show a week before anyone else.
