20 Indian troops, including one Lt Col, and 43 Chinese soldiers have been killed In the worst clashes between India and China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Galwan valley in Ladakh in 45 years. ANI quoted sources as saying that Chinese helicopters were seen ferrying the dead and injured. The sources also said that most of the Indian casualties were injured soldiers who succumbed to the severe cold.
