On April 3, 2023, The Alliance For Youth organization held a Fentanyl educational event at the University of Providence. The presentation included an hour-long ABC News documentary entitled, "Poisoned: America's Fentanyl Crisis." This program can be viewed online in its entirety on the ABC News website.
Following the documentary, there was a question and answer period featuring members of the Great Falls Fire & Rescue and Police Departments. The program opened with a talk to the students from the Vice President for Student Engagement and Athletics, Dr. Joel Bluml.
Great Falls Fire & Rescue Deputy Fire Chief Jeremy Virts and Great Falls Police Department sergeants Katie Cunningham and Joe Dusatko fielded questions on Fentanyl provided from the students. University of Providence Assistant Athletic Director Jim Sargent moderated the event.
