No place for Russia and Iran in Syria’s future – EU Kallas

The future of Syria was one of the top issues discussed by EU Foreign Affairs Ministers in Brussels today. The meeting was chaired by the EU’s new foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. She said a top EU diplomat has held meetings with the new Syrian regime in Damascus. The aim she said is to be in contact with the country’s new authorities and to understand how they intend to govern Syria.
