Mervue-based GP receives national award for patient care

A GP based in Mervue has been recognised nationally for her impact on healthcare in Ireland.

Dr Niamh O Brien has been awarded the Dr Fiona Bradley award at an event held at University of Galway.

The national award is made to an individual who has made a sustained difference in healthcare.

Dr O'Brien's practise caters for people in Mervue, Ballybane and Renmore, and she says she is honoured to receive such an accolade:
