The church remembers the Apostle Andrew on November 30th. Andrew was one of the more familiar disciples, but as we dig into the life of this apostle, there may be a few details that you were not aware or did not remember. He was the brother of Peter, but was first a disciple of John the Baptizer and the one who introduced Peter to Jesus. He was a fisherman from the city of Bethsaida, was a witness of the Savior's ministry and resurrection. Tradition holds that he was crucified on an X shaped cross, which has become known as St. Andrew's Cross.
