FWC has admitted that the proposed black bear hunt is not for population control. it’s about giving special interest the chance to kill bears. That’s not science that’s not conservation, it’s trophy hunting. we must demand better for our wildlife.

Humane World for Animals staffers warn the hunting season threatens the state’s black bear population and raises ethical concerns about baiting and hunting with dogs.
