Were evidence still needed that President Obama made a serious strategic mistake with his bid to “reset” relations with Russia, Vladimir Putin has just provided it.

In a recent speech delivered in the Black Sea resort town of Sochi, the Kremlin’s dictator reportedly declared, “The outbreak of global war is almost inevitable” and that Russia is preparing for it.

This might be written off as empty rhetoric from the leader of a former superpower, meant for domestic consumption. Unfortunately, Putin is said to be investing $700 billion to up-gun his military. He makes no secret of his willingness to threaten its use against neighboring nations and others, including us.

Mr. Obama says every one of his policies is on the ballot today. So let’s vote to reject his dangerous reset with Russia.
