And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8).
Unlike Isaiah’s eager response, my initial reaction when asked to join a Haiti mission team was “Who, me? I’m a hot-headed, socially clumsy, middle-aged, adult convert from the backwoods. What credentials do I have to offer a team of experienced mission trippers?” I thought.
