Bolton, Not Biegun, for National Security Advisor

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. 

A National Security Advisor who has long worked against Donald Trump’s policies and populated his administration with other, insubordinate subordinates is reportedly, finally departing. Unfortunately, the folks who recommended H.R. McMaster are now said to be promoting a successor with similar defects.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis evidently are urging Mr. Trump to hire Steve Biegun. A veteran of the Bush administration and Capitol Hill staff jobs, he is now associated with the leftist Center for a New American Security.  If Biegun gets the job, the President will get more of the same lousy Obama-Bush policy prescriptions that Donald Trump ran against and promised to change. 

It doesn’t have to be that way.  Mr. Trump could instead have a National Security Advisor who is deeply experienced, highly effective and dependably loyal.  His name is John Bolton.
